What you'll learn in this writing class:

Appropriate for writers from beginning to advanced, the Saturday Morning Drop-Ins are a time to discover new material from writing prompts, flex craft muscles, and listen to your unique voice, in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Occasional visits from guest writers. No critique.

Location: The workshops are held at a private residence in Mt. Washington, the country-like neighborhood in Northeast Los Angeles, about 15 minutes south of Pasadena, east of Silver Lake, or north of downtown LA. We are also near the Southwest Museum stop of the Gold Line.

After the student is admitted into the workshop, the specific address will be given.

Other things to prepare:
Typical materials for a writing workshop are a computer to do your writing, pen and a notebook, print-outs when needed, and a course book if assigned.
