Smile and learn the Language of the Drum with (Ifa tradition) Ayo Adeyemi from Nigeria! Students will learn Ayo's 9 Basic Rhythms, plus Rumba, Eja Osan, Yankee, Odun De, Fanga & Yembela, Weré-Weré, Shango and more while respecting Ibo, Ifa, Yoruba and other traditions.
In this course you will learn some very cool chants from this accomplished master. Musicianship is more than technique, and Ayo can help you to understand the meaning behind the songs and rhythms, and to expand your cultural worldview and musical horizons. If you could use some guidance as to how you can share your own unique musical/spiritual purpose, Ayo's class may be just what you need.
