Enjoy a relaxing evening playing with clay in this ceramics class at Blue Barn City Farm. No date necessary, the clay will be your plus one!
This beginner-friendly pottery class will focus on learning the basic techniques for working with clay. Each participant will make 1 piece at the wheel and 1 piece at the table during this 120min workshop.
In the unique, vine-draped outdoor studio, you will learn basic hand building and wheel throwing skills to create your pieces, providing you with the essential foundations for ceramics. This class is perfect for beginners and requires no experience! Your instructor will guide you through the process, giving you personalized instruction so you can craft functional or sculptural handmade vessels and a better understanding of this craft. You can pick your glaze colors and staff will dry, glaze and fire your pieces which will be ready in about 6 weeks.
