Join us at Eataly as we celebrate the international “Week of Italian Cuisine” with a toast to Prosecco! Our Passion for Prosecco event will focus on Prosecco, Italy's number-one produced sparkling wine. Made from Glera grapes, the white wine is named for an eponymous Italian village in the cool northern region of the Veneto. Excellent on its own, Prosecco may also be paired with peach nectar to make festive Bellini cocktails or stirred into Aperol and seltzer and garnished with an orange slice for an Aperol spritz, both excellent aperitivi.
This year at Eataly Chicago, during the international celebration of La Settimana della Cucina Italiana, our focus is on aromatic, floral and crisp Prosecco. Our wine expert will guide you through a tasting of four different Prosecco wines paired with complimentary Italian antipasti. Learn about the history of the Veneto and the story of sparkling Prosecco while creating your own Passione per Prosecco!
If anyone under the age of 21 attends, we serve artisanal Italian sodas in lieu of wine or beer. Please notify us in advance for any dietary restrictions. If we are not notified ahead of time of any special needs, we may not be able to accommodate them.
