Kate Adams and Cynthia Weiss

Kate Adams a teaching artist with sculpting and painting experience and staff at Marwen. In her current role as Manager of The Marwen Institute, Kate focuses her efforts on providing professional development and ongoing support of Marwen’s teaching artists and assistant teaching artists.

Cynthia Weiss is a public artist, painter, and arts educator and a leader in the field of the arts and education. In addition to her role as Director of Education at Marwen, Cynthia is an adjunct faculty member in the Education Department at Columbia College Chicago, a member of the Chicago Public Art Group, an artist in the Center Program at the Hyde Park Art Center and was selected to be a member of the Education Leaders Institute Illinois team, a program of the National Endowment for the Arts.
