​Sanya Glisic

Teaches at Spudnik Press Cooperative

Sanya Glisic is a Chicago-based artist and illustrator, working primarily in printmaking and drawing. She is originally from Bosnia. She received her BFA in Visual Communications from University of Arizona in 2007. She has illustrated for Penguin Books, Seven Stories Press, Black Candy Records, Rotland Press, Newcity, and The Chicago Reader. 

In 2012, she completed and exhibited a new body of work as Artist-in-Residence at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative. Her work has been included in recent exhibitions at Whitdel Arts in Detroit and Rubin Museum of Art in New York. She teaches illustration and printmaking at Columbia College Chicago, as well as at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative and Spudnik Press.
