James Pratt has been managing teams and training managers for 20 years. James has built teams around the world and on behalf of tech companies big and small, including giants like Microsoft and HTC. James’ experience has taught him one important lesson. Great management and team work is more important than great strategy, good ideas, smart people and lots of money. 

As we enter an age of a purpose driven workforce, managers must adapt to connect authentically with their teams. Current the VP of People Operations at Seattle startup Socrata, James brings his expertise with fast moving, distributed, multi-function and multi-cultural teams to companies looking to develop managers as a strategic asset.
