Lisa Zimmermann has been a nurse for eight years specializing in Pediatric and Postpartum Care. Lisa is a Certified Pediatric Nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Lisa has been helping women breastfeed in hospital settings, public health settings, and during in-home consultations for seven years.

Last year, Lisa began her private practice Maternal Child Connections to bring family-centered care to Chicago homes, after the birth of a newborn. Lisa has extensive experience working with women across income and race demographics. Lisa is the mother of a 4.5 year old, and can bring parenting experience along with evidence-based information to support postpartum women.
