Randye Kaye began her voice-over career as a way to keep acting while pregnant with her first child - and has been working behind the microphone ever since. Her credits include commercials - Kyocera printers, Betteridge Jewelers, Big Lots, Dove - Narrations - Continental Airlines, Medicare, Burger King, MISTO, Verizon - audiobooks, phone systems - Priceline.com, Executone, Elizabeth Arden - websites, video games, medical narrations - CVS, , Medicare, fibromyalgia management - and live announce events - Effie Awards, Echo Awards. Randye has also voiced many medical scripts, websites and telephony for major clients including hospitals (St, Raphael's in New Haven, Tanner Health systems in Atlanta), pharmaceuticals (Seroquel, Savella), patient care (The Newborn Channel, CVS, caremark.com, Medicare, fibromyalgia management) and e-learning sites (migraine prophylaxis, NAMI). She has also worked as a radio morning personality, and has acted on stage, in improv groups, and in TV/film. And – oh, yeah – she also writes. Her book and audiobook (guess who narrated?), Ben Behind His Voices, were published this fall. She lives with her husband in Trumbull, CT where her son, daughter and son-in-law visit often to raid the fridge and use the washer and dryer.
Informative and well presented.
This class was amazing. You get an excellent first look into the voice over industry. The class was small and comfortable. Christian was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided so much insight. Edge Studio is definitely very focused on providing everyone with the skills needed to go far in voice acting. This class was well worth taking.
The small class made it easier to learn and get the attention you hope for. The instructor was patient, kind, and made it so much fun!
