Urbanity Hip Hop classes specialize in urban choreography and will focus on movement and techniques developed through the culture of Hip Hop. Whether your focus is technique, movement retention, or you’re just looking for a new way to move, you can find it here!
Note: Students should wear comfortable clothing they can move in as well as smooth bottom shoes with little grip on the floor. Soles resembling that of TOMS or Converses are best.

Single Class Cancellation Policy: Urbanity Dance Chicago arranges make-up classes for students as long as we receive a notification of your absence by 12:00pm for same day cancellations.
Monthly Class Cancellation Policy: If a student is unable to attend the 4-Week session and cancels their registration before 12:00pm on the start date of their class, Urbanity Dance Chicago can reschedule the student's class to another date within the same Monthly session, or to a future session within 3 months of purchase.
Private Lesson/Room Rental Cancellation: To cancel and reschedule a Private Lesson or Room Rental without a fee, Urbanity Dance Chicago Requires a minimum 24 hour notification prior to the appointment

Hip-Hop derives from street dances created in America during the 1970s, such as popping, locking, and breaking. Classes have a heavy focus on individual expression, rhythm, and musicality. Basic level is recommended for students with no prior experience.
Monday Oct 21st, 7:45pm - 9pm
This class is an intermediate/advanced Hip Hop Dance class for students aged 9-13. Dress Code: Student Classes: Solid colored leotard and tights or jazz/yoga pants and top, jazz shoes with socks or bare feet. Hair should be pulled away from face and neck. No large jewelry No street shoes are permitted in the studio.
