Secular mindfulness is a modern movement backed by science and rooted in ancient wisdom. Through meditation and other practices, it improves focus, stress resiliency, physical health and happiness. All of which, makes mindfulness a powerful tool for wellbeing in schools, work and everywhere.

I love journalism. I’m not so fond of stress.
More than 15 years ago, I began to study and practice mindfulness meditation as a way to decompress. I got a lot more in the bargain. Mindfulness improved my focus and productivity. It enhanced my relationships. It also made me kinder and happier. (I became a lot less stressed, too.)
Now, I’m passionate about helping others – adults and kids – learn the skills I’ve learned.
