Radical Cooks founder Nina Zippay’s passion for sustainable cuisine evolved at age seventeen. When her father became seriously ill he was forced to cut out much of what constituted his regular diet. She took it upon herself to rehabilitate her family’s diet reducing salt, fat, and sugars. She began cooking seasonally and from the source. Such practices helped not only extend her father’s life but transformed her life in the process. Her greatest inspiration now comes from her own children from whom she derives her passion for delicious and healthy meals and the importance of giving it careful and loving preparation.

Class was fun. Instructor was very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Lighting was good. Instructions flowed well.

Nina had a great agenda for the class, and we ended up preparing and taking home 4+ meals a piece, either ready to eat, or ready to toss in a pot or pan for a quick finish, all in 2 hours. Plus we got an introduction to professional knife skills, which makes me want to take that class from her, too. I think the class will help me cut my time in the kitchen dramatically.
Nina is a great teacher. I learned so much. She's knowledgable, patient and friendly. Recommend this class most highly!
40+ people and 1 instructor. Crammed into a space not large enough to hold everyone comfortably. Menu stated that we would make dumplings and rice. no rice was made. Kids did one small task and then were asked to wash dishes and help set tables. They spent more time waiting around and doing non-cooking related things. Not a quality cooking class, not well put together or planned out.
Awesome! I learned a lot. I am using the knife skills on a daily basis. I love to cook but have zero professional training. I will be taking future courses.
