Join Chef Janet in this engaging hands-on workshop to discover the art and science of crafting authentic sushi from scratch. You will develop proficiency in steaming perfectly textured sushi rice, learning the precise water ratios and seasoning techniques that professional sushi chefs use. Master the rolling technique to create restaurant-quality compositions with confidence and speed.

Menu and Techniques:

During the class, you will prepare two signature rolls:

California Roll, combining sushi rice, nori, avocado, surimi, and cucumber for a creamy and refreshing composition
Veggie Roll, filled with sushi rice, nori, mango, avocado, and cucumber for a sweet and crisp presentation

This class emphasizes foundational sushi-making techniques and is accessible to all skill levels. Whether you are new to sushi preparation or aiming to refine existing skills, you will gain practical knowledge to prepare restaurant-quality sushi at home. By the course conclusion, you will have the expertise and confidence to recreate these dishes and impress friends and family with your newfound culinary skills.
