What you'll learn in this pizza making class:
We are so excited to bring you our brand new online cooking classes!
Join us as we learn the secret tricks behind working with yeast and preparing dough from scratch, shaping dough, and creating an artisan pizza fresh from the oven! Bring your own ingredients and beverage of choice. Let’s have fun in the Kitchen and learn something new as we #stayhome!
Delicious Menu:

How This Works
Live Online Class:
This class is offered online as a live cooking class. We'll be sharing the same amazing culinary entertainment you'd get if you were in our Kitchen, except you can be in your jammies (no judgement here). Ask questions, take notes, and have our Chef answer you LIVE from the Kitchen. We promise it'll feel a whole lot like you're in our Kitchen and you'll be practicing safe social distancing as we all #stayhome. We can't wait to cook with you soon!
Shopping List:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a short shopping list along with the recipes so that you can purchase what you need to actively participate. If you have any questions about ingredients and potential substitutions, you can ask the Chef Host during our time together — we are very creative and will help you make it work with what you have — or email [email protected] and she'll be happy to help you.
Accessing the Class:
You will need to download the free Zoom app onto your desktop, tablet or phone before the class. You will receive a separate email that includes a Zoom link to our online class. We recommend joining from a laptop to see better but tablets work just fine as well.
BYOB:
Our classes are BYOB (in our Kitchen and at-home) so please have whatever you'd like to drink in hand. :) It's going to be so much fun!
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy: All sales are final and non-refundable. There are no exceptions. You can reschedule your booking up to 5 days prior to the start time of the class using online rebooking. Rescheduling requests within 5 days of the class and no-show participants will not be accommodated. New bookings made within 5 days of the class cannot be rescheduled. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your class, you may be denied entry and will not be offered a refund or rescheduling. Taste Buds Kitchen will not be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances including schedule conflicts, illnesses, last-minute emergencies, and any other circumstance.
Waiver Policy: Guest participation is subject to the execution of our waiver. Guests under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian (no nannies/sitters, grandparents, carpooling parents, etc). Any guests without a signed waiver will not be able to participate and will not be offered a refund or rescheduling.
Disclaimer: This class and/or event may involve the use of induction cooking. This type of cooking may not be suitable if you have certain health conditions or implanted cardiac-rhythm devices. It is recommended that you speak with your physician prior to engaging in induction cooking and prior to purchasing a class and/or attending an event where induction cooking will be used. Refunds are not provided for an inability to utilize induction cooking equipment. Taste Buds Kitchen shall not be liable for any complications that may result from your use of induction cooking equipment.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

I have taken a lot of cooking classes before (through other cooking schools) and this was absolutely one of the very best. Melinda was a terrific instructor -- very informative and friendly, easy to understand, responsive to questions. I've always wanted to learn how to make pizza, but was afraid that it would be too difficult. What a pleasant surprise! The pizza that we learned how to make was delicious and very manageable. I liked the Zoom experience -- it was actually very useful to work with my own equipment in my own kitchen (this way I know that I can do it again!). I've already been recommending the course to all of my friends, and i look forward to trying other classes that the school offers. Melinda, thanks for a great afternoon!
