Description

This beginner-friendly class offers a comprehensive introduction to stained glass techniques, where participants will utilize recycled glass pieces to create an original abstract glass panel. You'll gain hands-on experience in all essential skills needed to complete your own unique artwork.

What You'll Learn:

  • The fundamentals of glass scoring, cutting, and sanding to properly prepare individual pieces for assembly
  • Methods for joining glass pieces together using copper foil and solder techniques
  • Creative approaches to personalizing your work by selecting from various finishing options
  • Complete assembly and final assembly procedures for your stained glass panel with a design of your choosing

Supplies and Materials:

  • All necessary materials, including recycled glass pieces, copper foil tape, solder, and various finishing options, will be supplied throughout the class

Additional Information:

  • This 4-hour class includes a brief break in the middle to recharge and refresh
  • No previous experience is required. This course is ideal for absolute beginners with no prior background in glasswork

Refund Policy

  • Full refund for cancellation 7 or more days before the class. 
  • 50% refund for cancellation 6 days to 24 hours in advance of the class. 
  • No refund for cancellation of less than 24 hour notice.
  • Reschedule request  is fine so long as it is 24 hours in advance.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    The venue and instructors (Becca!!) were wonderful! The set up and process for learning encouraged calmly all. I did wish that glass supply to cover area defined (per design sheet given) and number of pieces for the defined area (8) were available (rather than asking for larger pieces of glass). Working from the supplied pieces (quite small) was difficult. I understand people waste, but the people who signed up for the class seemed to be very aware and kind. I’d assume they wouldn’t waste and limit them if they did. Other than that, it was a wonderful class! I’ll be back!
