Summer Arts: Marks and Moves
With a focus on fun we will apply combinations of drawing, painting and creative movement to make small and large-scale works of art. We will dab, splot and splash paint and create masterpiece paintings with giant paintbrushes and unexpected tools like string, tissue paper, soap, straws, sponges and feet!
Summer Arts: Trashion Week

Create works of art that can be worn. We will use up cycled and nontraditional materials to create jewelry, belts, fashion accessories. The possibilities are endless as we work through drawing, sewing, constructing, gluing and experimenting with color and design while celebrating the earth! Runway show at end of week!
Summer Arts: Create with Clay

Get messy exploring the wonderful world of clay. Students will use kiln fired, air dry, polymer and paper clay to create animals, bugs, magical creatures, fake food, functional pottery and so much more. Learn basic construction techniques and think three dimensionally while having fun! Ceramic projects will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up after 2 weeks.

In-Person Summer Arts: Mixed-Media Portraits
Let's create a unique self-portrait using mixed-media techniques. Whether realistic, abstract or symbolic, your personality will come through in delightful and surprising ways. You will learn about the well-known self-portrait paintings of Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh and others for inspiration. Our portraits will combine drawing, painting, printmaking and collage techniques with a variety of materials and will include t-shirt designing too!
Summer Arts: Rainforest Adventures
