Scott's class was really fun, educational, and almost therapeutic. We learned a lot about the process and history of stone carving. Well, here we go with a new addiction. What an experience! Carving stone is more than it seems. I went in for a lesson in tooling and carving but I'm going back for the meditative experience and to attempt to unlock my inner artist. You can definitely come away with something in your first go but the possibilities are endless and worth exploring more. -

Half Day Private Digital Photography for 1-6 People (Boston)
I was looking for a phone photography course for my fiancé and myself who use Android and iPhone respectively. I couldn't find anything perfect but reached out to Digital Photo Academy and Richard was beyond helpful in finding me a photographer who could help us improve our basic photography skills. He reached out to his team of professionals in the Boston area and matched us with Brian Diescher who couldn't have been better to work with. Brian met us where we were interested in getting started and brought us to some amazing places we wouldn't have thought to photograph. He taught us to take much better photographs so our vacation pictures would be more interesting and a better quality. Brian also accommodated us when the weather on our chosen date was pouring rain and we met the following day. It was a great experience and we will definitely reach out again if we can get ourselves more into true photography. I've already recommended it to friends looking for a good activity or day date idea. -

Alexandra Rozenman was born to be a teacher-- inspiring, very smart & funny in a good way. She knows her art in depth. The atmosphere among the students is lively, friendly and you learn at your own pace. It took me a while to start painting-- my work is very analytical and my soul really needed some balance. I wish I had done it sooner-- I feel recharged and full of ideas. Her studio is also in a conducive place, a converted charming old building in a quiet area in Somerville. Plenty of a parking (a must for me). Great experience and I´ll be signing up for more. -

Under Alexandra's guidance/teaching, I now have four impressionist paintings hanging in my apartment! Each painting took 3-4 sessions to complete. Alexandra is not only funny, sweet, and kind, but also a great teacher. She would let me pick out a painting that I would like to "replicate", teach me the techniques to get it "right", but also let me know that there is no right or wrong way to paint and allowed freedom to incorporate my own style into the replicas. I enjoyed learning to paint from Alexandra! -
