In modern society parents often find themselves without grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other extended family nearby to help them with the important and challenging task of raising children. Our goal is to help parents connect with one another, and provide them with information from experts in the field in order to make this job both more effective and more enjoyable.
The sky’s the limit when it comes to understanding this monumental task - but life as a parent does not always allow for a lot of research! Our parenting workshops draw from the latest research in the field, as well as our own experience as parents and educators, providing opportunities for you to genuinely engage with this information in a supportive environment.
Through developmental theories and the latest in brain research, we seek to help parents understand where challenging behavior comes from, and have strategies to call upon when you need them most. Our interactive workshops and Play-and-Learn groups focus on the importance of emotional connection, developing curiosity and consistent, developmentally-appropriate expectations, in order to grow and nourish the minds of our children.
