We will explore relief printmaking with styrofoam plates, monoprinting on plexiglass, stamp-making, linoleum block carving and more! Students will learn about printmaking processes, from sketching, planning, tearing paper, proofing, printing and editioning. Students will have a chance to print on paper and other materials. They will work up to more advanced mixed medium techniques such as chinne colle with relief, multiple block prints and reduction relief prints.
All materials will be provided by the Art Center.
