Discover the essential concepts of Cinema 4D and learn how to create stunning 3D projects from start to finish. This course covers the basics of C4D, as well as general 3D principles to give you a solid foundation. Explore the integration with Adobe After Effects for rendering and compositing your scenes.
This course is for everybody new to C4D. It will take you through the basics of Cinema 4D, and will allow you to start using it to create your first projects from start to finish. We will also talk about general 3D concepts that will give you a better understanding of the underlying technology. Aspects of Adobe After Effects that work in conjunction with C4D will be used in this course for rendering and compositing your 3D scenes.
Who Should Attend:
Anyone who seeks to learn Cinema 4D from scratch, from any industry and discipline.
Prerequisites:
Practical working knowledge of Mac OS X or Windows. A basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects would be beneficial but are not necessary.
Course Outline:
Note: The curricula below comprise activities typically covered in a class at this skill level. The instructor may, at his/her discretion, adjust the lesson plan to meet the needs of the class.
Lesson 1: Basics
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations and registration changes must be received in writing. Please e-mail to [email protected]. Attendee substitutions may be made for any student without penalty or additional cost at any time until the class begins.

If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or rescheduling permitted. Payment is forfeited. The school reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment or in other circumstances. We will endeavor to give as much advance notice as possible of any change to the schedule. We shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
