Revit Architecture opens up the world of BIM, where you'll see how data flows across models to make designing and documenting so much smoother. You’ll be building architectural models that automatically generate floor plans, elevations, and perspectives, all while gearing up for the Autodesk Revit certification exam.
You’ll get experience with modeling buildings, handling everything from existing structures to demolitions and new construction. Plus, you'll learn how to create construction documents, site plans, and topography by importing external files, and generate plan views, sections, elevations, and renderings for your project sheets.
What You Will Learn
- Apply BIM modeling tools to create an architectural model, including existing buildings, partial demolition, and new construction.
- Prepare a set of architectural construction documents incorporating the site and building models.
- Build topography for a project using existing external files and develop a site plan, including hardscape and landscaping.
- Graphically differentiate the phasing of a project from existing construction through new construction.
- Produce plan, section, and elevation views of the project for sheet layout.
- Produce renderings suitable for presentation and documentation.
