This bootcamp is designed for people with a foundation in finance who are ready to add great technical skills to their toolkit. Through hands-on work in Python, SQL, data visualization, and machine learning, you'll learn how to tackle real-world financial challenges and come away prepared for careers as a Financial Analyst or Data Scientist. The curriculum blends coding, financial modeling, and applied data science to build practical coding, modeling, and analytical skills across all three areas.
On the technical side, you'll learn how to analyze financial data using Python and SQL, work with different data types, analyze tabular data and graph the results, and build visualizations and dashboards. You'll use Python to dig into financial statements and apply it to topics like WACC, NPV, and IRR. The program also covers how to build predictive models for internal budgeting, work with data through a graphical user interface, search through tables programmatically, and apply advanced querying techniques like subqueries and timestamp functions.
