This class will be held remotely through live videoconferencing.
Don’t 'fret' - all you need is a guitar and a phone (or a computer or tablet). Review the basics of playing guitar, reading lead sheets and right-hand technique. Then get an overview of where to go next - like more advanced bar chords, some basic scales, and improvising theory that can be applied to simple songs you’ve heard on the radio. By the end of the course, you’ll be performing confidently for family and friends.
Prerequisite: knowledge of notes on the first three frets of the guitar and basic open chords.
If you didn't take Guitar 1 with Michael and need lead sheets, please email us after registering.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
