Jeffrey will break down the hallmarks of rom-com acting—what casting directors are really looking for, and how you can prepare to shine in this unique genre.
McCorkle Casting has cast several Rom-coms (Ghost Town, Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding, Senior Moment etc.) and three recent Hallmark films (A Spectacular Christmas, Ghost of Christmas Always, Holiday Touchdown).
Intensive Overview:
For this event, Jeffrey will have received your headshots and resumes and cast you in a scene which you will receive 24-48 hours in advance.
You'll start off with a Q&A and then he'll begin working with you with a reader ON CAMERA in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and to take adjustments on the fly.
Currently, he's is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+).
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
