Description

This is a great workshop for any new painter who knows they want to make abstract art but aren’t sure where to start!

Sara Woster will guide you through a few exercises that allow you to make multiple mini abstract paintings based on contrast, composition and texture. Painters will learn what makes a strong abstract painting and walk away with a few small paintings that will hopefully inspire some larger works. They will also have the basic color and composition tools required to continue painting on their own!

Necessary Materials: A basic acrylic paint set, a few brushes and a few small pieces of paper or small canvases.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

We ask for 48 hours notice for all painting workshops, painting parties and events if you would like to cancel and receive a refund. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice we will try to find another, similar event for you to attend.

For weekly classes we cannot refund once the class has started unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask that you provide at least a week's notice prior to the start of class if you would like to cancel a weekly class.

For children's camps we require a week's notice if you wish to receive a full refund or there is a $100 cancellation fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
