In this online class, each artist will receive personalized instruction, one-on-one feedback and tailor-made guidance based on subject matter that are individually selected according to your needs, interests and materials you enjoy the most. Bring your artistic technique, authentic self-expression and exploration of drawing or painting materials further as you challenge yourself within a supportive and encouraging group online class setting.
As you strengthen your unique voice, continue to explore and practice core fundamentals and techniques that further support your process. This class is perfect for students who have taken previous classes with our art studio or those with previous drawing or painting class experience. Choose the subject matter that inspires you and discover your authentic artistic voice in this popular fear-free NYC drawing and painting class.

In this online art class, YOU will:
- Explore drawing, acrylic or oil painting through personally chosen subject matter that excites you most.
- Receive customized, one-on-one expert art instruction and feedback according to your unique style.

Materials you will need are based on your preference of medium in either Drawing, Oils or Acrylics.
Art Class Materials:
Materials are not included.
You will need your personal choice of:
- Acrylic or oil paints
- Acrylic or oil paint mediums
- Canvas sizes of your choice
- Jar for paint thinner or water
- Rags or paper towels
- Resource images that inspire you
- Drawing Paper (any size)
- Pencil Set (Variety of 4-12 pencils in HB ranges)
- Vinyl Eraser
- Kneaded Eraser
- Vine Charcoal
- Blending Stump
- Any additional art supplies that you enjoy working with.
- Note: We recommend Blick Art Materials, but you can use any brand you like.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Class tuition is neither non-refundable nor transferable. No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. In case of a Medically Certified illness, a credit will be issued after receipt of your physician’s documentation. The value of the credit will be for the balance of the remaining class sessions with an additional deduction of a $95 registration fee. Credit may be used up to 12 months.
If after your first class you are dissatisfied with the quality of your course, a written note must be submitted within 1 business day after your first class. After receiving your note, refund of class tuition will be reviewed by our staff. If a refund is granted, processing of refunds requires 8-10 weeks. A 5% nonrefundable processing fee will be applied.
Course Cancellations
Although course cancellation is quite rare, The school reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructor assignments and makes every effort to notify students in advance. If enrollment goals are not met, a course may be canceled up to 1 business day before the first scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a refund or credit is granted. On occasion, a course start-date will be pushed back if enrollment goals are not met. In this instance, you will receive a credit for the price of the class that did not take place.
Please note that there will be NO exceptions to this under any circumstances.
Make-up Policy
Unfortunately, The school does not offer any makeups for classes missed. However, if the student wants to get the most from the course and the absence, they can tell the instructor when they will be absent and the instructor can provide some guidance on exercises to practice while away.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
