  It was the best zoom class I've taken as he was savvy and quick with the technology in a way that really helped the learning process and didn’t delay or detract. The teacher provided tons of resources and useful tips throughout each class. He was engaging, energetic, and skilled. It helped to have our work marked up in real time to see where we can improve. He works well with all skill levels without judgment. More than anything, it was just fun :)

  This was really fun! We practiced drawing for the full hour and a half, which went by really quickly, and at the end we held up our work to the camera so everyone could see it. The instructor was great and easy to follow.

  Kathy Nolan, our instructor, was great. She made us all feel comfortable, she gave great tips, and I really felt as though I thought a lot out of my 1 1/2 hours. I look forward to doing more courses with her And will check out others in CourseHorse. This was my first course and I expect to do more.

  Josh's class contains a good mix of lecture and hands-on time (even over Zoom) and is welcoming to people of different artistic skill levels. I'm a complete beginner--I learned a lot in this class and am encouraged to keep going.

  The teacher was knowledgeable and talented. I went from barely able to draw faces to being able to make scenes with complete figures and interesting backgrounds. The use of technology makes it even easier to look at what you’re drawing and what’s being shown by the teacher (on Zoom) at the same time. The prompts for the assignments were REALLy good, and I enjoyed all of the things I made in this class. Definitely highly recommend.

  Super great basic foundational class. I wish I would have taken this class prior to a more advanced class that I took. It would have helped me a lot. Just thinking in terms of basic shapes was so simple yet so helpful.
