Learn the art of animation! Through the art of capturing movement and motion, you'll learn how to stage shots and develop interesting camera angles that will have you creating your own animation story.
Refund Policy
Class Withdrawal
- If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.
Special policy for excursions and special events:
- Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.

Cancellation
If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Stop Motion Animation (Grades 6-8)
My son said he liked the class and enjoyed the project. However, the instructor was out 6 of the 10 sessions (as was the case for another course) and I saw no work product at the end of the course. What did he do for 20 hrs? It was my understanding that he was working with another student and that the work was developed using the camera from a simple (or 'dumb') phone. The other student was tasked of assembling the short film, but the work was never shared and I'm not even sure it was submitted to the instructor.
This course could have been better planned in terms of equipment/ materials and expectations outlined so that a parent is able to engage with the child and determine if the enrichment objective had been met.
This is 0 for 2 for both CourseHorse and El Camino Community Education. I am very disappointed.
