Join us in a unique journey that explores two venues of southern California’s presidential legacy.
First, we will walk through the vivid and informative galleries of the recently renovated Richard M. Nixon Library & Museum in Yorba Linda. Your guide, John Powers, has been leading a course for several colleges and universities focused on the 50th anniversary of the one-and-only president ever to have resigned. John will bring to life the high and low points of Nixon’s career and tell you things that the museum tries to hide.
Next, we will travel to Riverside where, at the historic Mission Inn that has been host to numerous presidents, we will enjoy a memorable meal together at the renowned Mission Inn Restaurant. Afterwards, we will saunter through the Inn and its Museum Store before taking a few moments to explore the colorful promenade of Market Street.
Price includes admission to the Nixon Library. Lunch-on-your-own at Mission Inn.
