First Session: Ceramic Vessel Creation
During the initial meeting, you will learn fundamental pottery wheel techniques under instructor guidance. You will throw clay to create your own candle votive vessel. Following completion, you will select a glaze for your vessel, and our instructors will prepare it for the second session through the kiln-firing process.
Second Session: Candle Crafting
In your second meeting, you will explore candle-making using diverse materials and fragrance options. The session covers wick insertion into your handmade votive, wax pouring techniques, and precise fragrance addition to achieve a personalized candle reflecting your individual aesthetic preferences and style.
Class Details
This two-hour workshop meets twice, providing comprehensive instruction in both ceramic and candle-making disciplines. No prior experience with pottery or candle-making is required. All necessary materials are provided as part of the class fee, eliminating the need for participants to purchase supplies separately.
