Description

In this ceramic arts workshop, you will learn to hand-build functional and beautiful tea cups using traditional techniques. You can choose between the pinch-pot method, which involves shaping clay with your hands, or the slab-building technique, which uses formed clay slabs curved into a cup shape. After creating the body of your cup, you will attach a carefully crafted handle, smooth and refine the edges, and ensure the cup feels comfortable to hold in your hands.

Once the basic form is complete, you can personalize your cup by adding surface details such as carved lines, pressed textures, or stamped patterns that give your piece unique character and visual interest. All finished pieces are food-safe and dishwasher-safe, making them both beautiful and functional for daily use.

Refund Policy

Please notify us 40 hours in advance so we can coordinate with our teacher to account for material prep time or if there is a waitlist.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
