Learn how to bend silver, copper, and brass wire into chains and clasps for necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry. Learn basic wire looping and wrapping techniques, then put your new knowledge to work as you make three types of decorative chain, coils, clasps, jump rings, chandelier earrings, decorative headpins, and caged beads.
You’ll have assorted beads to choose from, and complete at least one bracelet, necklace, and pair of earrings in class. You will also take home detailed, illustrated instructions that you can refer to for future projects. You can purchase any other tools you need from the instructor at reduced prices.
Be prepared to purchase some jewelry tools in class at discounted prices (about $6 each), in addition to the materials fee. Do NOT buy any new tools until after class discussion. Bring to class a small towel and any jewelry tools you already own.
Note: This class also has $45 materials fee (does not include tools) that will be collected at the beginning of the class.
