Notes:
We use several types of tools in our maker workshops and camps.
In order for students to fully participate, we expect them to:
- Use full sized scissors independently
- Use a hot glue gun independently.
- Know how to tie a knot and a bow.
Our camps and workshops tend to be messy, especially our STEAM sessions and process art classes. We frequently use paint, sticky substances like resin and clay, and tools like screwdrivers and cardboard saws. Please come in clothes that can get something on them that may not wash out.
We provide appropriate tools and help guide children through activities safely. Our instructors have the expectation that ALL children will participate and use ALL provided tools. Please make sure that this sounds appealing to both you and your child prior to registering.
Please abide by our age recommendations. They are in place for the safety of your child and the other children attending.
Important: Adults must accompany children ages 17 and under.
