  • Very fun and rewarding evening!! Instruction was clear and it was amazing to see all the different creations come to life. Would recommend as solo, date night or friend experience. Light easy conversation sustained throughout the evening. All around good times :)
  • Fun class to top the weekend off. Justin was great, the class chatty and fun, and a lot of great spoons at the end!
  • such a fun class!!!! i love this art studio!!! all the classes are so fun
  • This was a very positive experience and I'm quite happy with my spoon, especially as a first time carver. The first process is drawing out your spoon on a block of wood before it's cut down a bit, and it was great to see the variety of what everyone came up with. There were ten or so people participating, and the instructor was incredibly helpful and attentive. As the process of carving does take a while, they were also good about trying to engage everyone at tables to chat, though my table didn't need much help, even though most of us were strangers; this definitely works as a solo, date, or group activity. (Not in any way impacting the score, but just something to note: Take parking into account. I didn't see any lots around and needed to find parking at a meter and needed to walk a couple of blocks to reach the class.)
  • So much fun! Chloe is an amazing teacher. Will definitely take more classes at Element Art Center.
  • super fun and great teacher. the environment is a very chill vibe will be back again
  • This was a well paced class, and all the tools were provided and the instruction was good and helpful for my first time doing anything like this.
  • Great space to work - social distance area - appreciated and good sturdy work tables - casual vibe - open & airy - pop up tents for sun and rain ( perfect ) Instructor 100% there if needed for questions - ample amount of tools for all in class to share. Super nice place / space.
  • Instructor is very good. Location is very good. I'm happy to have found it.
  • Spoon Carving/ Woodworking

Great communal activity. Perfect amount of guidance and independence. A truly pleasurable way to spend an afternoon. Plus, you get to pride yourself on making a tool you’ll use for years.
  • Spoon Carving/ Woodworking

Natalie was a fantastic teacher, and the class was so much fun! There’s nothing more satisfying than making something beautiful and useful with your own 2 hands!! Oh, and space at THESE HANDS COLLECTIVE has a fantastic vibe and Denise, the owner, was a warm and welcoming hostess! If this class was offered next month, I’d probably go back for round #2! It was that good! Thanks again Natalie and Denise!!
  • The class was incredibly fun and Melanie/Cindy were knowledgeable and helpful on all fronts!
