Description

Bring the whole gang and join us for a hands-on family cooking class at Lincoln Square! Children ages 6 and older are invited to have fun making and devouring a south-of-the-border feast with their parents, families or guardians. Arriba! This hands-on class is designed for children ages 6 and older to cook with their parents, families or guardians.

Menu:

Guacamole with Tortilla Chips
Grilled Chicken Fajitas with Peppers, Onions and Homemade Flour Tortillas
Arroz y Frijoles (Rice and Beans)
Tres Leches Bread Pudding with Citrus Caramel Sauce Drizzle

Skills covered in class:

Selecting avocados
Selecting and grilling chicken
Determining chicken doneness
Grilling vegetables
Making, rolling out and griddling flour tortillas
Steaming rice
Making and baking custard

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.

Refund Policy

All classes have a three (03) day cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps 1 and 2 which have a two-week cancellation policy.
You must email [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation.
If you cancel a class other than Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a credit card, you will receive a refund to your card, minus the 15% administrative fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a gift card, you will receive an account credit valid toward future classes, minus the administrative fee.
If you cancel within three days of your class, you will receive an account credit equal to 50% of the class price less 15% administrative fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This credit is valid for one year.
If you are unable to attend, you are also welcome to send a guest in your place.
Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 have a 2-week cancellation policy so any cancellations before 2-weeks will receive a refund minus the administrative fee.
No credits will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
