Briana Clarke

Teaches at Impulse Dance Company

Briana has danced for as long as she can remember, but she is told she started at age 3 in her Mom's dance studio. She started with tap, clogging, ballet, and jazz, but eventually found her way onto a competitive clogging team during her high school years, and focused primarily on clogging for several years. Once she began attending Brigham Young University in Utah, she got back into ballet, jazz, and added on contemporary.

It was in her college years that she really began her tapping career; first by taking a tap class offered by the college, and then working her way onto an audition-only team at the University, and eventually assisting college classes and teaching her own classes at a dance studio in Utah. Briana has a degree in Theatre Education from Brigham Young University, and currently lives in Dorchester with her wife, Beth.
