Very friendly instructors, great tips on how to change the recipes for different pies, easy to follow steps, definitely an activity children 10 and up can enjoy too.
I enjoyed the class and am very happy I did it! The only reason I dinged it a star is because they dont tell you ahead of time how basic of a class it is and that some things are already pre-made, which was a little disappointing to think you were getting the full A-Z experience and not. Very helpful otherwise and learned alot, cake came out amazing:)
You don't bake a cake, You just assemble a cake. It's a really sugary cake too.
The teachers were lovely and engaging, the food was copious, and we learned some great cake making techniques!
My second Milk Bar class. Makes even the most challenged baker enjoy the experience and leave with great & generous product. Had so much fun with the instructors and class. Ample supplies and instructors even made a plate of goodies for my husband who was waiting for me!
Fun class, easy to do, great instructors
Lots of fun! It’s great to have Milk bar do the work and we get to put the cake together
I booked this class to celebrate my anniversary and although there weren’t many men, my boyfriend had a great time. The studio was clean and cozy with the best natural light imaginable. We brought home two beautiful cakes we enjoyed constructing.
The class was fun and wonderful to be able to take home the treats. I found it very simple though and a very beginner class for people who may know a fair amount about baking. Not sure if it said so and I just didn't read through the description. Does Milk Bar do any more advanced classes?
What a fun class! If you're looking for a skills heavy course, this is not for you. However, if you want to have fun with great instructors and eat super tasty desserts from one of the best bakeries in the city, you should definitely do this course! It's really well paced and set up so that you're always doing something. Had a great time
