Online Editing with Audacity

After recording,  audio producers work to create a compelling audio experience by using cuts, edits, and additions that bring the listener into the story. Come learn how to use the free audio production software Audacity to mix and edit your audio show.  In this session we will cover:

• Best practices for editing audio; audio production in Audacity
• How to add music, ambience, and actualities to a show to bring your listener into your audio world
• Production techniques for mixing and mastering a clean, clear, and compelling audio story

We will use the free software "Audacity" during this class.  "Creating Your Own Podcast / Podcasting 101" is a recommended but not required prerequisite.

You will receive an email 2 hours prior to the start of the class with the link to join the virtual class.
