Are you approaching the final stages of completing your memoir and seeking guidance to navigate through to the finish line with elegance and impact? In this Online Memoir 3 Workshop, accomplished memoirist Erika Schickel will guide you in bringing your manuscript to completion. This workshop is specifically designed for experienced memoirists who are actively working on revising and finalizing their manuscripts. Erika provides customized homework exercises tailored to address the specific challenges you face, along with technical guidance on solving the craft problems unique to your work. Participate in an exclusive, intimate writing cohort where you will receive constructive feedback in a Salon-style MFA workshop format that emphasizes peer learning and professional development.

By the end of the class, you will have made substantial progress on your memoir project. You can submit up to 2,000 words twice and 1,000 words once for personalized feedback from the instructor and your cohort. This class is exclusively open to students who have successfully completed Memoir 2 at Writing Pad.

Before long, you may join the growing ranks of over 37 students who have published books after participating in classes with our experienced instructors.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

All sales are final and there are no refunds.

Credit may be offered based on class availability. If you can’t come to class, call or email us as far in advance as possible. We will do everything we can to fill your spot, but we can’t make any guarantees. Credit eligibility is not based upon your reason for being unable to attend a class; it is based upon the timing of your credit request and our ability to fill your spot. If we find someone to take your place, you will receive class credit minus a $25 processing fee for 1 day classes and $50 processing fee for long classes. In that case, your class credit will be good for a year from the original sign up date and will expire after that. Otherwise, you will forfeit your payment/payments.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
