What you'll learn in this vocational training:
This high-level live online course is for those who intend to take the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam or other NABCEP Board Certifications. Students will meet in a combination of instructor-led and self paced formats with live, instructor led videos streamed from our Brooklyn Navy Yard Solar + Storage lab. This hybrid format is ideal for those who have solar PV experience and need advanced educational CEUs from a NABCEP provider.
Advanced topics in this class will include NEC code requirements, configuring and installing utility-interactive, bimodal and off-grid PV systems, battery chemistries, energy storage, energy storage safety, FDNY and Department of Buildings codes, and system maintenance. Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Tuition refunds are issued under the following conditions:
- 95% refund when a written withdrawal notice is received 2 business days prior to the first class meeting.
- 80% refund if a written notice is received 2 business days before the second class meeting.
- No refunds are given after the 2nd class meeting.
Please note: For classes less than 200 hours, there is a fee of $25 charged for withdrawals once classes begin.
If you give a withdrawal notice by telephone or otherwise withdraw without written notification, you will not receive a refund.
The school reserves the right to cancel any course or modify the schedule. This can also include cancellation at the first class meeting. In the event of such a cancellation, you will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
