A residential doorperson opens doors, screens visitors, accepts packages and tracks deliveries along with myriad courtesy services. The doorman is the eyes and ears of the building, creating lasting relationships with building residents and their families. In this class you’ll learn essential skills including verbal communication, email composition, customer service, and ability to use Building Link software.
The class includes site visits to doorman buildings to speak with resident managers about the skills they seek. If you are a people-oriented individual this can be a satisfying, well-paid, stable, 9 to 5 job with excellent benefits.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Please note: For classes less than 200 hours, there is a fee of $25 charged for withdrawals once classes begin.
If you give a withdrawal notice by telephone or otherwise withdraw without written notification, you will not receive a refund.
The school reserves the right to cancel any course or modify the schedule. This can also include cancellation at the first class meeting. In the event of such a cancellation, you will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
