This course qualifies for both 8-Hour Chapter 33 and 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher Training courses. This course can be taken to renew Site Safety Manager (SSM) or Site Safety Coordinator (SSC) license and also satisfies the requirement of 8 Hours of prescribed training (8 Hour Chapter 33) for a Site Safety Training card as required by Local Law 196.
Training Requirement:
As per NYC DOB, to renew a Site Safety Manager Certificate, the applicant must complete 8 hours of refresher training as mandated by Title 1 of the Rules of the City of New York § 104-06 Continuing Education Requirements. The SSM license expires every 3 years, license holders much complete the 8 Hour refresher course one year immediately prior to renewing their license.
For renewal of Site Safety
Coordinator Certificate, the applicant must complete 8 hours of refresher training as mandated by Title 1 of the Rules of the City of New York § 104-06 Continuing Education Requirements. SSC license holders must complete the course every year as annual renewal fo the coordinator certification is required by NYC DOB. Site Safety Coordinator term is 1 year.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
