- Core Excel Skills: Build a strong foundation in Excel with formulas, functions, Pivot Tables, and shortcuts.
- Advanced Excel for Financial Modeling: Learn advanced techniques including Goal Seek, financial functions, shortcuts, and cash flow projection tools.
- Accounting, Corporate Finance & Valuation: Review corporate finance and accounting concepts, including enterprise value, the financial statement analysis, DCF modeling techniques, and corporate valuation principles.
- Financial Modeling: Build an integrated 3-statement financial model. Create a DCF model on a public restaurant company using current financial data. Review company presentations, earnings releases, and financial reports to determine the model drivers and assumptions. Using valuation principles, you will derive a value per share and evaluate the equity as a potential investment.
Prior knowledge of finance and accounting is helpful but not required as these topics are covered throughout the program. Attendees will receive a short pre-learning guide one week prior to the start of the course.
