Rec Room is the metaverse for kids. It’s a free Meta Quest VR App where users can socialize, play games, and build! In this course, students will learn how to create their own worlds including: architecture, lighting, animation, and game elements!
Each class period will first meet in Zoom and then in Rec Room using the Meta Quest.
Students must have a Meta Quest 1 or 2 with Rec Room installed.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Students have 2 weeks to try out a class to make sure it's a good fit. If they don't email us by the end of the second week, they are automatically enrolling for the entire session. If they decide to drop a class after attending, they will only be charged for the sessions they attended.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
