We're excited to launch a robust online version of our signature summer cooking camps using LIVE, interactive zoom lessons. Designed to provide children ages 6 to 15 the opportunity to gather together from the comforts of home as we have fun together in the Kitchen.
Limited-size live classes are full of excitement and connection, featuring two recipes each day. We'll master new kitchen skills from reading recipes and measuring wet/dry ingredients to knife skills as we work our way towards Kitchen independence. Get ready for some kitchen fun - this will be the highlight of your week!
Cupcakes & Cookies
Get ready to join in the fun as we put a TBK spin on the classic cupcake and cookie with our favorite savory and sweet recipes. Have you ever made Chocolate Monster Cookies or Quinoa Cupcakes? Fruit Pizza Sugar Cookies or Pineapple Upside-Down Cupcakes? We’ll tackle culinary techniques, master new skills, and put your culinary creativity to the test. The week begins with a Battle Cupcake Challenge and ends with classic Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting, leaving all budding chefs cheering for more!
All recipes are vegetarian. If your family has food allergies, many recipes can be easily adjusted in your home to fit gluten-free, dairy-free or egg-free needs!

How This Works
Live Online Class:
We'll be sharing the same amazing culinary entertainment you'd get if you were in our Kitchen, except you can be in your jammies (no judgement here). Please wear whatever you are comfortable in with long hair pulled back. Bring your smiling face and willingness to delve into all things tasty!
Participation:
Participation is for children with an adult present to chaperone and assist as needed. Siblings are welcome to cook together with sibling registration. Our goal is for the kids to do as much of the cooking as they can. Depending on the day we will be using knives, peelers, zesters/graters and the oven throughout our series so based on your child's age and kitchen comfort, you will be their sous-chef as needed. Otherwise, we want parents to sit back and enjoy!
Shopping List & Ingredients:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a shopping list for the week along with the recipes so that you can purchase what you need to actively participate. Most ingredients are pantry staples and/or readily available in most grocery stores.
Accessing the Class:
You will need to download the free Zoom app onto your desktop, tablet or phone before the class. You will receive a separate email that includes a Zoom link to our online class. We recommend joining from a laptop to see better but tablets work just fine as well. Please have all of your ingredients and equipment ready and waiting and your recipes out.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Cancellation Policy: All sales are final and non-refundable. There are no exceptions. You can reschedule your booking up to 5 days prior to the start time of the class using online rebooking. Rescheduling requests within 5 days of the class and no-show participants will not be accommodated. New bookings made within 5 days of the class cannot be rescheduled. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your class, you may be denied entry and will not be offered a refund or rescheduling. Taste Buds Kitchen will not be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances including schedule conflicts, illnesses, last-minute emergencies, and any other circumstance.
Waiver Policy: Guest participation is subject to the execution of our waiver. Guests under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian (no nannies/sitters, grandparents, carpooling parents, etc). Any guests without a signed waiver will not be able to participate and will not be offered a refund or rescheduling.
Disclaimer: This class and/or event may involve the use of induction cooking. This type of cooking may not be suitable if you have certain health conditions or implanted cardiac-rhythm devices. It is recommended that you speak with your physician prior to engaging in induction cooking and prior to purchasing a class and/or attending an event where induction cooking will be used. Refunds are not provided for an inability to utilize induction cooking equipment. In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
