Gain insights into the strengths and areas for improvement in your images, along with actionable tips on editing and composition. This constructive critique session is designed to help you elevate your photography skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
Join professional photographer and experienced instructor, Corey Hilz for a one-on-one image review session. Corey will discuss the pros and cons of each photo, as well as do light editing as appropriate. Constructive feedback about your images is an excellent way to learn how you can improve your photography. Critiques give you an objective view and valuable insights about your images.
Corey will discuss, in detail, the strengths of your images, as well as how they can be improved. He will give specific recommendations for how to make them even better, such as adjusting the processing (cropping, modifying tone and color, selective adjustments), and/or how to re-shoot if appropriate.
Corey is an experienced photographer, instructor and judge. He will offer constructive feedback about your photos in a friendly and encouraging manner. This is not a competition, so the images you share don’t have to be your very best. They should be photos that you feel pretty good about, with some diversity in subject matter, and they should fairly represent where you are with your photography.
This image review will be most helpful for beginner and intermediate level photographers. Familiarity with photo editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc) is useful, but not required. Although Corey won’t be giving any Lightroom or Photoshop instruction, he may demonstrate the processing adjustments he is recommending such as cropping and selective adjustments.
Participants can submit up to 30 jpeg photos at least three days prior to the session. Your confirmation letter will have more details about how to get your images to us for the class.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

If the school cancels or postpones a class due to weather or low enrollment, you can choose a full refund or a credit towards a future class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
