  Veronica is knowledgeable and passionate about photography and her outgoing personality is part of making her a good teacher. She presented the technical information in a way that was easy to understand without slipping into professional jargon and terms we might not have understood. Finally, even though the course was online, she's figured out how to make it work well.

  Kathy Adams Clark did a great job of teaching an online photography class. I wanted to wait until in person classes start again, being incredibly ADHD(really) but not knowing when that will possibly be, I decided to try this. Clark was very thorough in her explanations, and even sent a recording of the class afterwards. I would for sure take another class with her if in person doesn't start up again (She's in TX, I am in CA)

  Great information. Wonderful instructor put together a great presentation while answering questions. Unfortunately my computer crashed with a few minutes remaining on the course, but she was able to send the presentation pdf via e-mail after. I would happily take another class.

  I really loved the class. The teacher was amazing and took her time explaining aperture, shutter speed, and ISO in detail for those of us who needed it. The homework that was assigned is what was most beneficial in applying what we learned in class. Again our teacher was extremely encouraging and engaging.

  The course was very helpful in learning the basics of photography. The examples provided really helped understanding what the effects of each setting would do. I also liked the smaller class size so the instructor was able to come around to help you set up your specific camera. It was extremely insightful and I would definitely recommend this to beginners!

  I thought the instructor, Gabe, was very knowledgeble about various cameras, but most importantly, was able to explain settings and features on my camera to achieve creative capabilities that I was having trouble with. Unfortunately I probably will miss the second (8/19, 6-9p) of three classes but am hoping to make it up in one of the other sessions(8/27, 2-5p ?).

  Kathy breaks it all down simply, makes it all easy to understand. I feel like I learned WAY more than I had expected to from a "beginner" course! Brought 2 friends with me, and they feel the same way. Kathy has a great speaking voice, so she's very easy to listen to. She is very organized, stays on track and finishes on time as well.   If you have anything to do with photography GO HERE. This is where the community lives. Great shows. Great classes. Great people. They have geniuses on staff. PS: I glanced at some of the negative reviews, seems like 'user' error. The staff is generous and understanding and will work with your problems as they come up. This is a business, they need to create income to stay alive, they are not the enemy. Be kind.
