Required Materials and Supplies:
Students must provide their own art materials for this class. You will need watercolor paper (any size you prefer, preferably 140 pounds or heavier weight for best results), a watercolor pan set or tube paint set (pan sets work particularly well for beginners just starting out), a mixing palette or ceramic plate, appropriate watercolor brushes (you will need two round and two flat sizes, such as 4s and 12s), a water container or jar, painter's masking tape (quality brands work best), a pencil with sharpener, and a proper eraser (white vinyl or kneaded erasers both work equally well). Optional supplies include fine-tipped water-resistant pens for detailed work and decorative effects, and masking fluid for advanced techniques.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
