Being Confident in the Room: The Secret of Auditions & Studio Meetings w/ Casting Director Carol Lefko

Sure, you might be a great comic... but can you act? And can you do it COLD?

It's a nightmare for many comedians: You get called in by a major network... only to be handed a script you've never seen and asked to make it come alive - and be funny! - on the spot. Yet, this type of audition (known as a 'cold read') is all too common in Hollywood today. Confidence - both in an audition AND in meetings with producers, directors & studio executives - can make or break your career! In this workshop, acting coach & casting director Carol Lefko walks comedians through a typical audition & meeting process and teaches you how to break down an audition script in your head, make strong choices and stay true to your comedic voice both in the script and in the pitch, all while avoiding some of the most common pitfalls - the stuff that will keep you from getting the part! Come and learn the techniques that will help build the confidence you need to impress and electrify your auditions, making the right first impression to Industry executives and helping to galvanize your comedy career!

After all... when you finally get your 'big break', don't you want to be sure you're ready to nail it?
