What you'll learn in this kids writing class:

You will love hearing your child say “Wow, look what I wrote today!” when they embark on this reading, writing and imagination-adventure class that will teach your child to write “wow” sentences and stories.   

Each day, students will read an awe-inspiring “wow” book by a famous children’s author. Next, they will move on to create their own story inspired by the style and genre of the exciting book they just read. 

Before long, your child will be writing colorfully detailed sentences and imaginatively entertaining stories. Wow!

Please Note:
  • Students under 18 years of age, must have a parent or guardian complete a Release & Medical Consent form.
  • This class has a materials fee of $5 to be paid directly to the instructor at the time of the first class.

Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy

Requests for withdrawal from a class must be received at least three full business days before the first class meeting. Upon request you will receive a credit voucher in the amount of the class, less a $10 service fee per class. The credit voucher is applicable toward a future class and is valid for three years. Full refunds will be granted if a class is cancelled by El Camino College. Please allow four to six weeks for processing.

Requesting a transfer

To transfer to a different class date or course, requests must be received at least three full business days before the first class meeting. A $10 service fee per class will apply. Please call CourseHorse at 212.729.4088.
